Opelousas - A Memorial Mass will be held for Ms. Harriet Marie Siegel on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas. Monsignor Keith DeRouen will celebrate the mass. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the recitation of the rosary at 10:30 a.m. in the church. Inurnment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas. Due to the COVID-19 masks mandate set forth by the state of Louisiana, masks will be required to enter the church and for the committal service at the cemetery.

Harriet, age 79, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Opelousas General Health System. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sister, Joan “Jolly” Siegel Guidry of Spring, TX; and brothers, Halbert “Butch” Louis Siegel of Monroe, LA and Drew Siegel of Baton Rouge.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Stelly; and her father, Louis Halbert Siegel.
