Halie Castille

Opelousas Funeral Services for Halie Jewel Castille, age 13, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel and Interment will follow in the St. Bridget Cemetery in Lawtell. Pastor Drew Rousse and Pastor Benny Reppond will conduct the Services.

Halie was a resident of Opelousas. She passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014, as a result of an auto accident. Halie was a student at Grolee Elementary School in Opelousas. Halie loved hanging out with her brothers. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include parents, Robert and Stacy Fontenot Castille of Opelousas; her brothers, Logan Fontenot and Mathis Castille both of Opelousas; and her grandmothers, Judy Mendoza and Jaunita Fontenot both of Opelousas.

Halie was preceded in death her grandfather, Michael Fontenot; her great grandmother, Dora Castille; and her grandfather, Hebert Castille.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen on Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m.
