Gregory Joubert

OpelousasFuneral services will be held at St. Landry Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at 2 p.m. for Mr. Greg Joubert, age 49, who passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at his home in Lafayette, LA. Rev. Fr. Brady will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in the St. Landry Cemetery.

Greg was born in Opelousas on November 23, 1963. He is the son of Sam and Winnie Joubert. He graduated from Opelousas High School, continued his education at T. H. Harris, studying Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. At the time of his death, he was employed as Facility Manager by the Daily Advertiser.

He is survived by his daughter, Stacey Joubert and her mother, Julie Menard of Lafayette his mother, Winnie Joubert Gamber and stepfather, Jim Gamber of Opelousas sister, Gwen Heck and her husband, Steve of Katy, Texas and brother, Kenneth Joubert and his wife, Pat of Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Joubert.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, from 3 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. On Wednesday, visitation will continue from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. A Rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening in the funeral home.
