Gloria Richard

Opelousas -Graveside funeral services for Gloria Jane Richard will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA. Bro. Warren Stoute will officiate the services.

Gloria was a native of Arnaudville and a longtime resident of Port Barre. She died on Friday, August 12, 2016, at Pointe Coupee Healthcare in New Roads at the age of 69. She cherished her frequent visits with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was an avid reader, a seamstress, and a collector of coins. She also enjoyed painting and doing crossword puzzles. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, Frank Stoute and wife, Melanie of Church Point; and Robert Stoute and wife, Stacie of Arnaudville; two daughters, Dawn Mouton and husband, Shannon of Oscar; and Andrea Gesser and husband, Jason of Church Point; three brothers, Calvin Richard of Port Arthur, TX; Terry Richard of Virginia; and Donovan Richard of Leonville; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis Richard and Helen Olivier Richard.
