Port Barre- A memorial service will be held for, Glenn Broussard, at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre. Brother Louis Charrier will conduct the Service.
Glenn, age 58, a resident of Big Cane, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was an avid deer and squirrel hunter. And also was a LSU fan.
Glenn was a kind-hearted man that loved his family dearly. He would take the shirt off of his back to help someone out and never expected anything in return. His smile and laugh was contagious. There was never a dull moment with him around. He made light of every situation and if you ever needed a good laugh, he would be sure to bring it out of you. All that knew him loved him. He will be missed tremendously.

Hebert and her husband, Justin of Broussard and Abby Broussard of Big Cane, brothers, Bobby Broussard and his life long companion, Debbie of Opelousas, Jeff Basco of Bunkie, and Lenny Broussard of Florida, sisters, Matilda Basco of Lafayette, Phyllis Glasscock and her husband, Mitch of Opelousas, Regina Basco, and Christina Wiker of Florida, 2 grandchildren, Grayson and Marabel Hebert.
He is preceded in death by parents, Bruce and Mattie Broussard.
