Port Barre Funeral services for Ms. Gertie Stelly, 68, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in the St. Leo Catholic Church in Leonville. Interment will follow in the St. Leo Catholic Church Cemetery in Leonville.

Father Kenneth Domingue will conduct the services.

Ms. Stelly was born in Leonville, and was currently residing in Port Barre. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her partner, Armond Stelly; a son, Alvin Joseph Stelly; a daughter, Linda Guillory and her husband, John, of Port Barre; two brothers, Edmond Guidroz and his wife, Jean, of Mobile, Alabama; Gilbert Guidroz and his wife, Antoinette, of Hessmer; four sisters, Marie Alice Guidry of Cecilia; Edna Credeur of Port Barre; Vivien Soileau and her husband, J.C., of Port Barre and Rita Dupre and her husband, Gerald, of Port Barre. Ms. Stelly was also survived by two grandchildren, Shane Guillory and Timothy Stelly.

Ms. Stelly was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Stelly; parents, Elias Guidroz and Avenire Lavergne; two brothers, Wilfred Guidroz and Willson Guidroz and a sister, Elenore Stelly.

Visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, from 3:00 p.m. - all night. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
