Georgette Miller

Leonville A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, LA, for Mrs. Georgette Ann Credeur Miller. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the St. Leo Cemetery in Leonville, LA. Rev. Father Kenneth Domingue will celebrate the Mass.

Mrs. Georgette was born in Lafayette, LA, and was a longtime resident of Opelousas. She passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Opelousas General Health System at the age of 63. As a pastime, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful, loving, and caring mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include one son, Terryal James Miller of Opelousas four daughters, Shelia Marie Leger of Carencro Melinda Ann Vallery and husband, Wilson James Vallery of Carencro Paula Sue Miller Fontenot and fianc, Joseph Larry Soileau of Opelousas and Mary Marie Miller and significant other, Timmy Zachery of Leonville one sister, Nancy Mae Credeur Kerry of Melville two brothers, John Sanders Credeur, Jr. and James Larry Credeur, both of Lawtell 10 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren. She also had a special friend of the family who was like a soninlaw, Christopher James Landry, Sr. of Opelousas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Sanders Credeur, Sr. and Marion Guillory Credeur her son, Christopher James Miller and one granddaughter, Sissy Marie Miller.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Ryan Taylor, James Ray Taylor, Joseph Ray Miller, Jr., Christopher Kurt Fontenot, Joshua Ryan Gartman, and Christopher James Landry, Sr. Honorary pallbearer will be Christopher James Landry, Jr.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, January 18, 2013, beginning at 5 p.m. with an all night wake until 12:00 p.m. noon on Saturday.

A Rosary service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.
