George Doucas

Opelousas – George Pete Doucas, 60, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at a local hospital. A committal service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Pete Smith will officiate.

George was a talented chef like his father, a wonderful musician, and a great artist in his spare time.

George is survived by his mother, Irene C. Doucas of Opelousas; son, Philip Doucas and wife Heather of St. Louis, Ms; sister, Francine Hientz and husband Wayne of Houston, Tx; and grandchildren, Tevin and Dominic Doucas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Doucas and step father, Gene Casenova.

Cremation has been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
