George Desoto, Jr.

Opelousas memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2013, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel, for Mr. George F. Desoto, Jr. Rev. Benny Reppond will officiate the services.

George was a resident of Melville. He passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at his home, at the age of 54.

Survivors include wife, Vickie S. Desoto of Melville, his son, Jeremy Daniel Ray Stevens of Melville, his father, George Desoto Sr. of Opelousas, sister, Gwendolyn Thibodeaux of Opelousas, two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria LeBlanc Desoto, his son, Justin Ryan Stevens, his brother, Jimmy Desoto.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Monday, February 11, 2013, from 9 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
