Gavin Stelly

Washington Graveside Funeral services for Gavin James Eli Stelly, age 1 month, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington.

Fr. Nunez will officiate the service.

Gavin was born in Opelousas on February 3, 2009, and was currently residing in Opelousas. He died on Sunday, March 8, 2009, in Opelousas General Health System.

Survivors include his parents: Robbie J. Stelly, Sr. and Kathleen Dunn, both of Opelousas; four brothers: Robbie Stelly, Jr., Brent Stelly, Kolby Stelly, and Devin Stelly; two sisters: Samantha Deville and Brittany Stelly; maternal grandparents: Huey P. Dunn, Jr. of Opelousas; and Tammy Boudin of Sunset; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Ellis James Stelly and Nola Marie Guidroz Miller.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, beginning at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

A Rosary service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.
