Gary Castille

Opelousas- Funeral services for Gary Fox Castille, age 51, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2009, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park.

Fr. Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the mass.

Gary was born in Opelousas and was a long-time resident of Opelousas. He died on Thursday, August 27, 2009, at his home. Gary was a Graduate from O.H.S. in 1976. Gary was a NDT Technician. He belonged to Our Lady Queen of Angels Church. Gary thoroughly enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to music. He enjoyed having conversations with his family and friends. Gary was a very kind hearted man who loved his family especially his nephew and two nieces. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mourning his death yet cherishing his memories is his parents: Bette T. and John Nathan Castille of Opelousas; one brother, Jeffery L. Castille of Opelousas; one sister, Peggy Daniel and husband, James of Richard; one nephew, Steve Daniel of Richard; two nieces: Leighanne and Meagan Daniel of Richard; one aunt, M. Priscilla Castille of Opelousas; and one uncle, Donald L. Thibodeaux, of Addis.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Allen and Arthemese L. Castille; maternal grandparents: Louis and Helen S. Thibodeaux; and a baby brother, Gerard Castille.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas on Friday, August 28, 2009, from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
