OpelousasA Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bridgette Catholic Church of Lawtell at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 8, 2012. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the St. Bridgette Cemetery with Fr. Austin Leger officiating.
It is with great sadness that the family of Frankie Belle Tolar, age 84, announces her passing on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Senior Village Nursing Home. She enjoyed guarding, and taking care of her cats. She was a devoted mother, grandmother that will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She leaves behind her children Kenneth Prudhomme and his wife, Tammy of Lawtell, and James Prudhomme, Jr. and his wife, Shari of Lumberton, Miss., six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Vorhies and Celeste Joubert Olivier, and her daughter, Debbie Prudhomme Wyble.

A rosary will be prayed at 6 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 12:00 noon until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 am until 10:30 am on Thursday November 8, 2012.
