Frank Stoute

Funeral services for Mr. Frank H. Stoute, age 87 , will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park of Opelousas.

Mr. Frank was born in Leonville and was a long time resident of Port Barre. He passed away at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. Frank was a pipeline bulldozer operator for 45 years. He was a member of the 406 Operator Union. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Barre. He was a devoted husband of 65 years, and a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, greatgreatgrandfather, and friend. He really enjoyed spending time with family and friends cooking, laughing, and reminiscing the good times. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survived by: two sons, Wesley Stoute and wife Beryl, of Port Barre and Warren Stoute and wife, Rita of Opelousas three daughters, Dianne Parr and husband, Tony of Monticello, GA Christine Dugas of Opelousas and Gwen DeJean and husband, Fred of Alexandria one brother, Cedrick Stoute of Bridge City, TX and two sisters, Genevie Darbonne of Opelousas and Joyce Taylor of Butte La Rose. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 greatgreat grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Hazel Marie Bright Stoute, one son, John Clayton Stoute, parents, Frank and Rita Nezat Stoute one grandchild, Brian Paul DeJean and numerous brothers and sisters.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, March 16, 2012, from 5p.m. until 10 p.m. On Saturday, visitation will continue from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.

A Reflection service will be held on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
