Frank Miller
Opelousas Funeral services for Mr. Frank Miller, age 85, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2009, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Chataignier, La.
Deacon T.J. Richard will officiate the service.
Mr. Miller was a native of Chataignier, LA, and was a long-time resident of Ville Platte. He died on Thursday, January 1, 2009, in the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.
Mr. Frank was a truck driver and hauled produce. He served his Nation during World War II in the U.S. Army. One of his great loves was cooking, especially Bar-B-Que for his family and friends. Mr. Frank also enjoyed going out hunting and fishing with his friends. He is going to be sadly missed by family and friends.
She is survived by sons, Kenneth Miller of Carencro, Carl Miller of Broussard; daughter, Romana Gautreaux of St. Amant; brother, Abrar Miller, Jr. of Eunice; sisters, Nola Fourroux of Ponchatoula, La., Wavy Jones of Ville Platte, Leona Ortego of Mamou.
Mr. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Dossmann Miller; parents, Abrar and Marante Vidrine Miller, Sr.; brothers, Edgar Miller, Lawrence Miller; sisters, Eva Miller, Rita Miller and Elnoria Fontenot.
Visiting hours will be observed on Saturday, January 3, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas.
