Frank Devillier

LEONVILLE- A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank Lloyd “Bill” Devillier will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Fr. Mike Arnaud will conduct the Service. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Leo the Great Mausoleum.

Frank, age 92 passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. After seeing his commitment through to our beautiful country, he went on to work as a gauger in the oil and gas industry.

Frank is survived by his nieces, Avia Andrepont (Charley), Sheryl Badeaux (Waylon), Charlene Fontenot (Al), Sandi Joubert (Blaine), Fern Dupre fiancé Kent; nephews, Fr. Mike Arnaud, and Guy Arnaud (Mindy), Dennis Arnaud (Jessica) and Robbie Devillier fiancée Laurie.

Frank is preceded in death by his loving wife, Theresa Devillier; his parents, Frank and Evelyn Devillier; brother, Walter (T-Neg) Devillier, Claude “Rock” Devillier; and one sister, Leola “LoLo” Arnaud.

Pallbearers will be, Dennis Arnaud, Guy Arnaud, Robbie Deviller, Richie Badeaux, Jared Badeaux and Charley Andrepont.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. The rosary will be recited at 12 noon.
