Opelousas Funeral Services for Frank R. Angelle, Jr., known to many as Frankie, age 26, will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park. Rev. Easton Shelvin will officiate the services.
Frankie was a native of Opelousas and was currently residing in Plaisance. He passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010, in DeQuincy, LA, due to an automobile accident.
He was employed by Moncla Companies as a Junior Operator. He was a U. S. Army Veteran who served his country proudly and was also a member of the Army Reserves. He loved being outdoors especially hunting and fishing. Being an avid football fan, he enjoyed watching the Saints play. He loved spending time with his children, family, cousins, and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Heather Noel Angelle four children, Landon, Amaya, Gabriel, and Jaiden Angelle, all of Plaisance his parents, Frank R. Angelle, Sr. and Lynette Leger Angelle of Opelousas three sisters, Jessica Smith and husband, Clint Nina Brown and husband, T. J. Victoria Estilette and husband, Brock all of Opelousas father and motherinlaw, Aron Noel and Phyllis Bernard Noel of Plaisance two sistersinlaw, Chassity Noel and Jodie Noel, both of Plaisance paternal grandmother, Lavern Angelle of Denham Springs maternal grandparents, Curtis and Shirley Leger of Opelousas and a host of family and friends.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Marshall Angelle and Juanita Marks and Frank and Jeanette Stelly and one uncle, John Walter Leger.
Pallbearers will be T. J. Brown, Brock Estilette, John Wally Leger II, Aron Noel, Isaac Caskey, and Nick Doucet. Honorary pallbearers will be Landon Angelle, Logan Billeaudeau, and Terry Stelly.
The family requests that visitation be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Sunday, December 12, 2010, from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. On Monday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 AM until 1:45 PM.
A Prayer service will be at 7 PM on Sunday evening in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Angelle Family to help defray the cost of the funeral expenses.
