Frances Hinckley Thibodeaux

Opelousas Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Hinckley Thibodeaux, 84, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2009, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Gardner-Hinckley Cemetery in Washington.

Father Angelo Cremaldi will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial.

Mrs. Thibodeaux was a long time resident of Opelousas and died at 9:40 a.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2009, in the Eunice Manor Nursing Home.

She was a bookkeeper in the banking industry and for the Daily World for many years. She was also a past Vice President of First National Bank. She was a member of the Elks Lodge Auxiliary of Opelousas. She loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all.

Survivors include two sons: Dwight David Thibodeaux of California City, CA; and Glenn Andrew Thibodeaux of Opelousas; one brother, Robert Hinckley of Opelousas; one sister, Gertrude Hinckley of Opelousas;

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Lloyd Thibodeaux; her parents: Arthur Latham Hinckley, Sr. and Roberta Drew Hinckley.

Visiting hours will be observed from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2009, in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.

A rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home.
