Frances Mistric

Opelousas -Funeral services for Frances Sifuentes Mistric will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2016, in Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the St. Landry Cemetery; with Rev. Fr. Austin Leger will be officiating.

Frances was resident of Walker, LA. She died on Friday, January 15, 2016, at her home, at the age of 90. Frances enjoyed doing word puzzles, crocket, cooking for her family and friends, and fishing. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Mark Mistric and his wife, Melissa of Walker, LA., daughter, Stephanie Mistric of Lemoine, LA., 5 grandchildren, Jayson Braud, and wife, Blaire, Jayme Braud, Cody Mistric, Kendall Mistric and Abigail Mistric, 1 great grandchild, Jackson Braud.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Mistric, Jr. her parents, Rufus and Patricia Vela Sifuentes, one son, David R. Reyes.


Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
