Florence Badeaux

Leonville Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Lalonde Badeaux, age 97, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011 with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the St. Leo Cemetery Mausoleum.
Father Kenneth Domingue will be the celebrant for the Mass. Florence was a native of Pecaniere and was currently residing in Baton Rouge. She died on Thursday, February 17, 2011, in Baton Rouge.
Survivors include five daughters: Nanceli Saizon, Elsie Richard, Florence Lalonde, Loretta Fontenot, and Denise Janise 24 grandchildren, many greatgrandchildren, and many greatgreatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis F. Badeaux parents, Placide and Denise Laviolette Lalonde four sons: Francis Badeaux, Joseph Louis Badeaux, John Lonney Badeaux, and Kenneth Ray Badeaux daughter, Gloria Judy Andrus granddaughter, Celeste Saizon and three sisters: Lillian Lalonde, Lelia Badeaux, and Lucretia Hebert.
Pallbearers will be Dale Andrus, Kenneth J. Badeaux, David Janise, Scott Lalonde, James New, and Gene Saizon.
Visiting hours will be observed in the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church of Leonville on Saturday, February 19, 2011, from 9 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
A Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the church.
