Evelyn Bertrand

OPELOUSAS – A Memorial Service for Evelyn Mae Bertrand will be held at a later date.

Evelyn, age 85, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Opelousas General Health System. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Evelyn is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, James E. Bertrand of Abilene, TX; and daughter, Dr. Tina Bertrand of Abilene, TX.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Gladys Busbee; and her brother, Edwin Busbee.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested friends to please donate to an Alzheimer's Association or plant a tree in memory of Evelyn Mae Bertrand.
