Mrs. Andre was born on February 14, 1955, in New Roads, LA, and went to be with her Savior on Thursday, August 03, 2006, at her residence in Fordoche, LA, after a short battle with cancer. She was a cherished member of Courtableau Baptist Church in Courtableau, LA. She worked tirelessly to help people come to Christ through spoken words, acts of kindness and a model Christian life. She was a very special person to all who knew her. She was a loving wife, of 35 years, a devoted mother and grandmother, a wonderful daughter, sister, and friend that was never too busy to listen and offer some of her godly wisdom. Being an employee of Bobbens Supermarket for 18 years, she was heavily relied on and very loyal. Concern and love for both her job and family always shined through. She will be sadly missed by all who were privileged to have known her and touched by her in some way.
