Evangeline Comeaux

Opelousas- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for, Evangeline Comeaux, on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 12:00 noon in the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas. Rev. Msgr. Keith DeRouen will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will follow in Bellevue Memorial Park.

Mrs. Comeaux, age 102, a resident of Webster, TX and native of Opelousas, LA, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at The Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center in Webster, TX.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherille McCombs and husband, Mark; son, John Comeaux and wife, Australia; grandson, Scott Guillory and wife, Sylvia; and a host of great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Levy Comeaux; her parents, John Miller and Naomi Leger Miller; and her grandson, Craig Guillory.

Pallbearers will be J.C. Guillory, Sr., Harold Lalonde, Brian Vincent, Joseph Garcia, Drew Guillory, Scott Guillory and Pat Miller.

The family requests visitation be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas.
