Eugene Chadwick Eaglin

Grand Coteau Funeral services for Eugene Chadwick Eaglin, 42, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2008, in the St. Charles Catholic Church, Grand Coteau. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau.

Mr. Eaglin was born in Opelousas, and was currently residing in Grand Coteau. He passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at his residence after a brief illness.

He was a truck driver by trade and loved being with family and friends.

Survivors include: his parents, MacArthur and Marie Louise Melancon Eaglin of Grand Coteau; former wife, Norma Jean Gordon Eaglin, Breaux Bridge; son, David Chadwick Eaglin, Breaux Bridge; daughter, Anastasia Marie Gordon, Breaux Bridge; brothers, Eric Eaglin and wife Antoinette, Atlanta, Ga. and James Darin Eaglin and wife Anna, Houston, Tx.; sister, Sharlotte Eaglin, Sunset, La; one grandchild and three nephews and one niece.

Visiting hours will be observed on Friday, September 12, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau. On Saturday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services.
