Ethel Taylor

Port Barre Funeral services for Ethel Guillory Taylor, age 63, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2008, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by interment in the church cemetery. The Reverend Paul Metrejean will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Church Point and was a long time resident of Port Barre. She died at 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2008, at her residence.

Ethel was a homemaker, a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Raymond J. Taylor Port Barre; two daughters: Adaline Fruge and Romona T. Noel both of Port Barre; six grandchildren, Tyson Sonnier, Victoria Sonnier, Kylie Barron, Aaron Noel, Alex Olivier, and Tori Olivier; one great grandchild, Zane Sonnier.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daisy and Adele Deville Guillory.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre on Sunday, July 20, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. until service time on Monday. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
