Eston, age 98, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at his home.

Eston served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughters, Joyce Bennett and her spouse Jerry Bennett; Caroline Mazurkiewicz and her spouse George Mazurkiewicz all of Opelousas; 3 grandchildren, Brigette Towler, Chance Gil and Angel Courville; and 4 step-grandchildren, Monique Blaylock, Stacey Tretter, Duska Bennett and Eddie Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosella Fontenot Marcantel; and parents, Basile Marcantel and Amanda Courville Marcantel, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.
