Esther Lee Lynn Stoute Curtis

Port Barre Funeral services for Mrs. Esther Lee Lynn Stoute Curtis, age 66, will be held at 2: 00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2007, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre. Interment will follow in the Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Opelousas.

Rev. Joe Russo will officiate the services.

Mrs. Lynn was a native of the Alexandria area and long-time resident of Port Barre. She died on Monday, November 19, 2007, in her home.

Survivors include her son, Stephen Keith Stoute and wife, Kimberly of Baton Rouge, LA; two grandchildren: Leann Stoute and Stevie Stoute of Baton Rouge; two brothers: Collins Stoute, Jr. and companion, Pat Kemp of Port Barre; and Johnny Stoute of Port Barre; three sisters: Gloria Borskey of Port Allen; Roma Fontenot and husband, Tim of Port Barre; and Sandra Fontenot and huband, Ray of Port Barre; 2 great- grandchildren. She also had a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Curtis; and her parents: Collins Stoute, Sr. and Amy Angelle Stoute.

Visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday, November 20, 2007, in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre beginning at 3:00 p.m with an all night wake until the time of services on Wednesday.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to mrs. Pam Moreau with Central LA Home Health for her strength and care which was given to Mrs. Lynn during her time of care.
