Esther Castille

Opelousas A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at St. John Catholic Church in Lewisburg, for Esther Theresa Castille, age 77. Rite of Committal will follow in the Old Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point, with Father Austin Leger Celebrant.
Esther passed away on Tuesday May 29, 2012 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She enjoyed cooking and dancing. She especially enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by children, Clarence Castille Jr., and wife Lynette of Ville Platte, Carl James Castille and wife, Tina of Opelousas, Sheryl Guidry of Opelousas, her sisters, Marie Matte of Church Point, Lessilyn Viator of Church Point, and Margaret Reviere of Crowley, six grandchildren, Jay and Kevin Guirdy, Kristy Castille, Kara Buller, Derrick and Katheryn Castille, and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Mathilda Carriere Daigle, her husband, Clarence Castille, Sr, and her soninlaw Jay Guidry.
The Family would like to send a special thanks to Louisiana Hospice especially Mellisa, Kim and Hannan for all there love and care.
Pallbearers will be Jay Guidry, Kevin Guidry, Derrick Castille, Clarence Castille, Jr., Carl Castille and Frank Henry, Jeff Reviere.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Thursday, visitation will continue from 8 am until 1:30 pm in the funeral home. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday evening in the funeral home.
