Estelle Babineaux

Opelousas– A visitation will be held for Estelle Babineaux, on Saturday, October 30, 2021, 9:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. with a Eulogy at 12:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.

Estelle, age 88, a resident of Senior Village Nursing Home, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021.

Estelle’s love for her family was overflowing. She loved family time, cooking, watching Cajun dancing on TV, trying new recipes, and sewing for others. She loved caring for her grandchildren, as well as her neighbors and friends.

Estelle is survived by her son, Larry Babineaux of Parks, daughters, Ronald (Priscilla) Blankenship of Metairie, Karlis Touchet of Opelousas, and Lynn Babineaux, of Opelousas, brother, Raoul “Tee” Guillory of Turkey Creek, sister, Adelle Curruthers of Lafayette, twelve grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, and six great great-grandchildren.

Estelle is preceded in death by her parents, Raoul and Eva Guillory, her husband, Harry Babineaux, son, Dennis Babineaux, daughter-in-law, Sharon Babineaux, son-in-law, Eddie Touchet, brothers, Harry & Frank Guillory, great grandchild, Ethan Patrick Thibodeaux.
