She was 83 years of age. She was born in Arkansas and a long time resident of Port Barre, La.BRBRMother always had a house full of plants, shelves over flowing with cookbooks and goodies in the ovenBRBRShe worked so very hard all of her life and she played hard as well. Her favorite past-time, aside from the slots, were cooking and fishing at Grand Isle. She and friends spent many a day there, crabbing, fishing, cooking and eating.BRBRShe was preceded in death by her husband, Dorris Godet; and grandson, Scott. BRBRShe is survived by daughter, Sallie Miller; grandson, Mike and wife, Brandy; granddaughter, Abigail; and great granddaughters, Madison and Sami.
