Emily Brasseaux

Opelousas- A Graveside Service will be held for Emily Fisette Brasseaux on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 10:30 AM at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas. Deacon Sammy Diesi will conduct the service. Burial will follow Graveside Service at Bellevue Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Emily, age 84, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Senior Village Nursing Home.

Emily enjoyed cooking, playing cards (Bourre), and making candy for her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Emily is survived by her daughter, Elaine B. Wyble and son in-law, Gary Wyble of Youngsville. Two brothers, Herman Fisette and wife Georgette of Opelousas, and Lonnie Fisette and wife Norma of Lake Charles. One grandchild, Danielle Wyble, and one Great-grandchild, Ian Poole.

Emily was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy “Pete” Fisette and Mildred “Poon” Tauzin, and one brother, Roger Dale Fisette of Opelousas.
