Emile Aymond

Port Barre Funeral services for Emile Pedu Aymond, Jr. will held at Sibilles Funeral Home in Port Barre, LA on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre.

Mr. Aymond died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Opelousas General Health System. Mr. Aymond was a veteran of the Armed Forces, and a Sandblaster Painter at Exxon in Baton Rouge for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved them so much. He also loved working in his garden.

Emile is survived by his wife of fifty two years, Elizabeth Betty Aymond two sons, Duane Kent Aymond and his fianc Marianne Fontenot of Port Barre, LA, William Billy Aymond of Alexandria one daughter, Jeanne Aymond and her friend Shawn Dupuis of Washington cousin, Douglas Bergeron, six grandchildren, Kassi Jones, Seth Aymond, Jana Ardoin, Bryson Aymond, Eli Aymond and Brittany Fontenot seven great grandchildren, Gavin Jazmin Glasscock, Trey Tori Jones, Emma Aymond, Drake Sawyer and Chandler Hebert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile Aymond, Sr. and Emiline Quebedeaux Aymond his three brothers, Harris Aymond, Sr., Carrol Aymond Andrew Aymond one nephew Jason Aymond.

Pallbeares are Scotty Aymond, Carlus Aymond, Seth Aymond, Bryson Aymond, Gavin Glasscock and Shawn Dupuis Honorary pallbearers, Kent Aymond, Billy Aymond and Douglas Bergeron.
