Opelousas Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth M. DAvy, age 80, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington.

Fr. Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the service.

Mrs. DAvy was a native of Covington, LA, and was a long-time resident of Opelousas. She died on Sunday, December 28, 2008, in the Opelousas General Health System. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by one son, David A. DAvy of Lawtell; two daughters: Judie DAvy Fontenot and husband, Kenny of Bunkie; and Ann Ortego and husband, Billy of Opelousas; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. DAvy was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur F. Brother DAvy; her parents, one brother, and two sisters.

Visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
