Elder J. Robin

Port Barre Funeral services for Elder J. Robin, 91, will be held at time June 20, 2007, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

The Reverend Nicky Trahan will conduct the services.

Ms. Robin, a native and resident of Port Barre, died at 2:36 PM Sunday, June 17, 2007at Opelousas General Health System.

Elder J. Robin was a devoted mother, wife, and friend. She was a faithful christian who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include: Three sons, Larry Eugene Robin and wife Margarite of Alexandria, Leroy Joseph Robin and wife Bonnie of Broussard and Maurice Butch Robin and wife Margaret of Slaughter; a daughter, Ms. Gussie Robin of Port Barre; Daughter-In-Law, Pearl Robin of Grenada, Miss.; a sister, Helen Robin of Port Barre; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren .

Ms. Robin was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Cocky Robin; parents, Andrew and Marie Brown Johnson and a son, Marion Raymond Robin.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Larry, Ray, Mark, Chris, Scott, and Jeremy Robin. Honorary pallbearer will be Alex Campbell.
