Edward F. "Pappy" Sibille
Opelousas- Funeral service will be held for Edward "Pappy" Sibille at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Austin Leger will conduct the Service.
"Pappy" as he was known, was a native of Sunset and a resident of Opelousas. He passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at his home, at the age of 90. He was a Veteran of W. W. II Army Air Corps. He enjoyed wood working in his shop that he built himself (he was an avid woodworker). He enjoyed his 42 years career as a truck driver.
Survivors include his children, Clint Sibille and his wife, Melissa of Tallahassee, Fl., and Allison Sibille of Opelousas, and three grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents, Willie and Lilburn Guilbeau Sibille, his loving wife, Violette Sibille, son, Gary Sibille, daughter, Dawn Patrice Sibille, and all his siblings.

The visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Rosary service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday evening in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.
