Edward Blue Mule Lanclos

Opelousas A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Edward Blue Mule Lanclos. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Rev. Father James Brady will celebrate the Mass.

Edward was a native and longtime resident of Opelousas. He passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012, as a result of a motorcycle accident at the age of 69. Edward loved to ride his motorcycle and spend time outdoors. He was an 18 wheeler driver and did long haul driving. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and is going to be sadly missed by all.

Survivors include his son Gary J. Lanclos and companion Carla Soileau of Grand Prairie, La. sister Joyce Bourque and husband Roy of Lafayette, La. four grandchildren Ashley Rouse and husband Joseph, Amber Lanclos Barrow and husband Chris, Kevin Lanclos, Camille Lanclos three great grandchildren Jayden Barrow, Arianna Lanclos, Brayden Lanclos three god children Ricky Richard, Mark Hanks and Bonnie Marks.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife Roma Nell Lanclos parents, Amar and Ozema Stelly Lanclos daughter, Becky Lanclos granddaughter, Heather Lanclos brother, Leroy Lanclos.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Monday, October 22, 2012, from 2 p.m. and remain open all night until 1:30 p.m on Tuesday. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening in the funeral home.
