Earline Oakley

Opelousas – A Funeral Service will be held for Earline Stelly Oakley on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Benny Reppond will officiate the service. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. till time of service. Interment will follow in the Little Red Cemetery in Shuteston.

Earline, age 96, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and all who knew and loved her.

Earline is survived by her sons, Warren Oakley of Sunset, and Ron Oakley and his wife, Mary of Church Point, grandchildren, Joe Oakley and his wife, Liz of Church Point, Carmen Oakley of Texarkana, Texas, and Tanya Ardoin of West Lake, La., great grandchildren, Chance Burchfield of San Antonio, Bailey Burchfield of Austin, Texas, Gavin Oakley of Church Point, Gracie Oakley of Church Point, and Margaret Cranford of Texarkana, Texas, niece and god child, Debbie Theriot of Carencro, and nieces Tina Wimberly of Sunset, and Judy F.ruge, of Church Point

Earline is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Warren Oakley, Jr., her parents, Yves and Edna Stelly, daughter-in-law, Sherry Oakley,     sister, Bonnie Wimberly and her husband, Dave Wimberly.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Mrs. Oakley to the Calcutta House 105 St. Christopher St. Lafayette, LA 70506.
