Dustin Smithey

Grand Coteau Funeral services for Dustin Smithey, age 21, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, with a funeral service in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Brother Benny Reppond will conduct the service.
Dustin was a resident of the Lafayette. He died on Friday, July 16, 2010.
Survivors include his father Robert Smithey of Haslet, TX, his mother Jennifer Gil Smithey of Lafayette, his finance Brittany Shannon Cook, his grandmother Shirley Emonet, of Opelousas, his grandfather James Smithy, of Port Barre, one sister Shannon Joubert Courville and finance Ky Hebert of Eunice, step father Kevin Joubert of Grand Coteau, one god child Haiden Anthony Joubert, and one step brother Shane Joubert of Shreveport, LA.
He was preceded by one sister Krystal Joubert.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy George, Jacob Comier, Raymond Joubert, Kevin Joubert, Nicholas Benoit, Moses Arceneaux, Shane Rideaux, and honorary pallbeares will be Donnie Guillory, JR Guillory and Caman Guillory.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau on Tuesday, July 20, 2010, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
