Dr. Dale Thomas Dupuis, D.D.S.

Opelousas A Memorial Mass for Dr. Dale Thomas Dupuis, D.D.S., age 57, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2010, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Cecilia, LA. Msgr. Louis Melancon will celebrate the Mass.
Dale was a resident of Lufkin, Texas. He passed away on April 12, 2010, in Texas.
Dr. Dale was born on June 7, 1953, in Opelousas, LA. He graduated from Opelousas High School, University of Louisiana at Lafayette and LSU Dental School with honors. He and his family lived in Opelousas for several years and then moved to Lufkin, Texas. He practiced dentistry in Huntington, Texas, since 1992. Dale enjoyed wildlife, nature and exercising, always involving his family in his many scientific and engineering projects as much as possible. He was an excellent mentor to his children, nieces and nephews who adored him. Time spent with him was prized and special. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Dawn Oncale Dupuis his children: Matthew and Betsy Dupuis mother, Lorraine Hohbach Dupuis siblings: Dr. Michael Dupuis and wife, Martha and their children: Beau and Steve Pamela Dupuis Saupe and husband, William and their children: Tyler and Zack Juliette Dupuis Shales and husband, Richard and their children: Henry and Eva and Elise Dupuis Fontenot and husband, Lessley and their children Lauren, Dennis and Lessley motherinlaw, Andra Oncale brothers and sistersinlaw: Bryan Oncale Traci Oncale Aucoin and husband, Phil and their children: Trey, Michael, Madelyn and Christopher Jeannine Oncale Derouen and husband, Leroy and their children: Jason, Sarah and Ethan Brent and Lesley Oncale Blake Oncale and wife, Holly and their child, Mason and Barry Oncale and wife, Janie and their child, Amy.
Preceded in death by his father, Beauregard B.D. Dupuis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas, LA.
