Dot Dupre

Opelousas -A Mass of Christian Burial for Dot Dupre, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Fr. Jared Suire will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Prairie Ronde.

Dot was a resident of Prompt Succor Nursing Home, died on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at the age of 85. Ms. Dot was retired from St. Landry Parish School Board.

Dot is survived by her children, David Dupre and his wife, Stephanie and Deanna Menard and her husband, Frank, 1 granddaughter Leighann Vallot and three grandsons, Kyle Dupre, Brandon Dupre, and Christian Dupre, four great grandchildren, Caroline and Noah Vallot and Avan and Graham Dupre. Also a host of nieces and nephews which includes two special nieces, Shirley Marks and Linda Taylor.

Dot was preceded in death by husband, Rodney Dupre, her parents, Arcade and Celestine Dupre.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday April 7, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Saturday ay 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

A Rosary service will be prayed at (pending) in the funeral home on Friday evening.

The Family wants to give a special thanks to the entire staff of Prompt Succor Nursing Home for there care of Mrs. Dupre.
