Dolly Mae Devillier Lager

Opelousas Funeral services for Mrs. Dolly Mae Devillier Lager, 89, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2007, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park.

Mrs. Lager was a native and life-long resident of Port Barre. She died at 5:35 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2007, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home in Arnaudville. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ladies Altar Society, and the Rosary Group for many years.

Survivors include a host of great- nieces and great-nephews.

Mrs. Dolly was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Cleveland Lager; her parents: Rapheal Devillier and the former, Mary E. Ryder; and her sisters: Rita Ryder, Edna Guidry, Isaure Devillier Roy, Hazel White, Bessie Winn, and Gervis Benson.

Visiting hours will be observed from 10 a.m. until time of services in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.

A rosary will be recited at 12:00 p.m. noon on Monday in the funeral home.
