Opelousas Funeral services for Diane Kay Perez, age 55, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2010, in the Unity Baptist Church, on Hwy 190, in Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Baptist Cemetery, on Hwy 35 in Church Point, La.
Pastor Gaspard will conduct the service in the Unity Baptist Church.
Diane was a resident of Opelousas. She passed away peacefully on November 2, 2010, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette. Diane was retired cashier from Super One Food. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband Mr. Eddie Perez, of Opelousas, her brothers Joseph T. Winn, of Cankton, La., and Huey Winn and his wife Germaine, of Church Point, her sisters Mary Savoie and her husband Alvin of Bristol, La., Barbara Harris, of Bristol, La., and Cora Smith and her husband Frank of Crowley, La. and her sisterinlaw, Elida J. Pop and her husband Niculae of San Antiono.
She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur J. and Mary Olla Hebert Winn, and her sister Iva Dunlap.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Unity Baptist Church, in Opelousas on Friday, November 5, 2010, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. On Saturday, visitation will continue in the Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
