OPELOUSAS Born June 19, 1941, in Palestine, Texas he passed away at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Visitation will be at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Opelousas, Louisiana on Thursday, February 24th from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. He is survived by his wife, of 41 years, Jessie Margaret Pavy sons Glen and wife, Paula, of Menlo Park, CA, and Greg and wife, Karen of Seattle, WA and granddaughter, Dana Marie, and grandson, Alexander Lee of Menlo Park, CA. Smokey was a graduate of the University of Houston. He was an avid outdoorsman and Texas Longhorns fan. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Judes or a charity of your choice.
