A Memorial service for Deola Marie Soileau Taylor will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019, in Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre. Visiting hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service at 12:00 pm. Rev. Eldon Reeves will conduct the service.

Deola was a resident of Port Barre, she died on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at the age of 67. In her earlier years she enjoyed spring time gardening and planting petunias.

Deola is survived by her son, Chad Taylor of Port Barre, daughter, Lisa Hat�eld and her husband R.L. of Denham Springs, sister, Burnice Doucet of Elizabeth, brother, J. C. Soileau and his wife Vivian of Port Barre, brother, Leo Soileau and his wife LouElla of Port Barre, grandchildren, Karli Jordan, Sophia Fleming and her husband Zack, and great grandchildren, Hayden Nezat and Aubrie Fleming.

Deola is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Roy Taylor, parents, Joseph Lee and Lucille Leger Soileau, sister, Helen Wright and brother, Joseph E. Soileau.
