Opelousas Funeral services for Debra L. Lanclos, age 53, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2011, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.
Fr. Ted Broussard will officiate the services.
Debra was a resident of Church Point. She died on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, in the Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
Debra loved her children, she was a very loving mother, she enjoyed gardening and keeping her place looking very nice. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Metrejean of Church Point, her parents, John and Emma Richard Lanclos, of Opelousas, son, Bralyn Lyons, of Church Point, daughter, Michelle Lyons, of Church Point, brother, John Darrell Lanclos of Church Point, Danny and Debra Lanclos of Benton, Tenn., sisters, Mona Gail and Mitch Ewing of Lawtell, and Pam and Joseph Keith of Lawtell, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grand parents, Homer and Louise Courville Richard and Elie and Angeline Noel Lanclos.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, beginning 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Thursday morning at 8:00 am until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening in the funeral home by Father Austin Leger.
