Deborah Lynn Wyble
Opelousas- After a courageous 11 year battle with cancer, Deborah Lynn Wyble, age 55, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, December 8, 2009. Funeral services will be at 10: 00 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2009, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Interment will follow St. Bridget Cemetery in Lawtell, LA.
Fr. Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the funeral service.
Deborah was a long time resident of Opelousas. She was a graduate of LSU-E School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse for 28 years, of which 22 yrs. where served at Doctors Hospital. Debbie will all ways remembered for her love of baking home made deserts, trying new recipes, and most of all, for her love animals.
Survivors include her husband: Donald Don Wyble, of Opelousas, her mother; Frankie Belle Olivier Tolar of Opelousas, her only daughter; Celeste Thibodeaux Guffey, of Opelousas, her husbands two sons: Doyle C. Wyble of Opelousas and Travis K. Wyble and wife Rachel of Carencro, two brothers: James A Prudhomme, Jr. and wife Shari of Lumberton, MS, and Kenneth Paul Prudhomme and wife Tammy of Lawtell, one brother-in-law Dr. Merrick Wyble and wife Melba of Opelousas, six grandchildren: Evan Thomas Guffey, Ciarra Stelly, Adrienne Wyble, Ashton Wyble, Amelia Wyble, and Aidan Wyble.
Preceded in death by her father; James Albert Prudhomme, Sr., and her step father William Tolar.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas on Thursday, December 10, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
A Rosary service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday night.
