Port Barre Funeral services for David Hadley, age 59, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2011, with a service in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre.
Bro. Benny Reppond will recite the service.
David was a native and a long time resident of Port Barre. He died on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at his home.
David was a Diesel Mechanic, he was a member of the Port Barre Lyons Club, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, he also loved to cook for his family and friends. David was a family man. He enjoyed helping people in need. He will be sadly missed by all who and loved him.
Survivors include his, mother Betty Hadley, of Port Barre,his wife, Elaine Myers Hadley, of Port Barre, his children Bryan Hadley and his wife, Sheri of Port Barre, Armecia Majors and husband, William of Krotz Springs, Sam and Mathew Hadley of Port Barre, brothers Don Hadley and wife, Linda of Livonia, La, Denton Hadley and wife, Mona of Maringouin, LA., sister Susan Terleckey and husband, Tim of RioLinda, CA., five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Howard Hadley.
The family requests that visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre on Friday, April 22, 2011, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. On Saturday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
