David Lyn Gray

Opelousas- Funeral services for David Lyn Gray, age 62, will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the St. Anthony Cemetery in Krotz Springs, La. Rev. Fth. Gregory Simein will conduct the Funeral Service.

David was a resident of Opelousas and passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. He was a pipe fitter by trade. David enjoy Zydeco and Swamp Pop music and attending the Festivals associated with them. David enjoyed baking and cooking; he was a full time parent that included taking care of a special needs child. David was an avid dog and animal lover and enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. He is going to be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him. David was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and may his soul rest in peace.

David is survived by his son, Joshua Gray of Opelousas; daughters, Ashley Gray and Lainey Gray of Opelousas; brother, Ronald Ardoin of Krotz Springs; nephew, Ronnie Lynn Ardoin of Krotz Springs; niece, Kayla Richard of Ville Platte.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Evelyn Hooks Gray.

Visitation for David will be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of Service at 11:00 a.m.
