Opelousas Funeral services for Darlene Joy Broussard will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2014, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the 1st Baptist Church Cemetery in Krotz Springs. Rev. Benny Reppond will officiate the service.

Darlene was resident of Opelousas. She passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, at the age of 69. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughters, Yvette Dupont and her husband, Mark of Washington, Annette Jackson and her husband, Robbie of Slaughter, LA., and Tracie Marchand and her husband, John of Gonzales, LA., brother, Bruce Anderson and his wife, Teri of Krotz Springs, sister, Yvonne Artall and her husband, Ralph of Melville, six grandchildren, Julia Dupont Tate, Madelyn Dupont, Patrick LeBlanc, Jessica Jackson, Kenneth Goss and Alex Marchand, and one great grandchild, Jacob Tate.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Broussard, her parents, Eddie and Thelma Bordelon Anderson, sister, Christine Collier.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home, on Saturday, June 14, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m.
