Daniel Beaugh

Opelousas- A Funeral Service will be held for Daniel Beaugh on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Deacon Dwayne Joubert will conduct the service.

Daniel, age 54, a resident of Opelousas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice surrounded by his loving family.

Daniel served with the St. Landry Parish Sheriffs office for 4 years. He loved horses and enjoyed attending the horse races. Daniel also enjoyed being outdoors working on various landscaping projects. But most of all Daniel loved cooking, BBQing and spending time with his family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son Christian Beaugh; daughter, Cameron Beaugh; mother, Shirley Jagneaux Beaugh; twin brother, David Beaugh; brother, John Warren Beaugh, Jr.; and sisters, Stephanie Beaugh and Sandra Beaugh.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Warren Beaugh, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Frank and Enola Beaugh; maternal grandparents, Curtis and Eola Jagneaux; and nephew, Jamie Theriot.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. The rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. by Deacon Dwayne Joubert.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Simoneaux, Mike Simoneaux, Donny Bordelon, Jody Bob and Scott Sebastien.
