Dana Emerson

Opelousas-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016, at St. Bridget Catholic Church for Dana Pitre Emerson. Fr. Ted Broussard will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the St. Bridget Cemetery in Lawtell.

Dana was a resident of Prairie Ronde. She died on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at her home, at the age of 45. Dana loved landscaping, sky diving, cooking, face book, she was a big time animal lover, she enjoyed coordinating events.

Dana is survived by her husband, Samuel Emerson of Prairie Ronde, her parents, Morris and Janice Thibodeaux Pitre of Prairie Ronde, her brother, Craig Pitre and his wife, Tracie of Pecan Island, her sister, Monique Andre` Pitre and her husband, Jeff Schultz of Portland Oregon.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas and will reopen on Friday Morning until time of service. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening in the funeral home.
